Our Journey
Where it Started - HARM BOOY (Founder)
My journey with watches began at the age of 8 when I acquired my first timepiece – a modest, yet sentimental watch that sparked my lifelong passion for watches. Over the years, my fascination with these technical instruments grew exponentially. By middle school, I was disassembling and reassembling watches for sheer enjoyment, eventually earning the title of the local watchmaker in my small village close to Eindhoven.
Driven by a deep passion for timepieces and inspired by the way watches can mark the milestones of our lives, I launched the Instagram page @mr.watchief. This platform became the foundation for sharing my love of horology and motivate my audience to do the impossible.
In January 2023, MR WATCHIEF transitioned from an influencer platform to an online store. Möels & Co joined us in February, marking our official entry into the retail space. Throughout the year, MR WATCHIEF has grown to represent a broad spectrum of high-quality watches for everyone to celebrate their unique memories. Brands like UNDONE and Praesidus followed in June, with ELKA Watch joining our collection in May 2024. We selectively curate from the best, ensuring that our collection reflects our commitment to excellence. We embrace watches at every price point because everyone celebrates life's moments in their own way.
